These vambraces made from 18 gauge steel, are held together by 0.5cm thick leather segments which are riveted to the armour, the leather straps are also thick and riveted. Not only do they cover vulnerable forearms, but the elbow and the back of the hand are also protected. They are well articulated and comfortable to wear. The hand grip allows plenty of room for a leather glove or light gauntlet.

Gothic Jack Chain (Pair)

The Jack Chains are part of an arming jacket, reproduced from museum originals. Jack chains were an importtqant part of the protective equipment of the medieval foot soldier who, typically, wore a padded arming jacket to protect his upper body with tied-on Jack Chains to protect the arms from slashing cuts.

Italian legs End 14th to begin 15th Century
